Casting Call

Over at the SJ.TV forums we're receiving news that as of today children are being auditioned for "The Sarah Jane Adventures". It's not known yet if this is for a permanent role in the series, or for a more likely guess spot. More news as we get it (thanks to "Darth Vader").

It's good news for any dedicated Smithie living within Canada - tonight sees a rare repeat of "K9 and Company" - or "A Girl's Best Friend" if you insist! The pilot episode, recorded and broadcast in 1981 is broadcast on BBC Kids tonight at three different times (10PM, 2AM, and 5AM Eastern). Have fun watching the show - and watch out for Ian levine's 'memoriable' theme...

In other news, after we reported Elisabeth Sladen's appearence at the Highwayman's Ball earlier this week, Sarah Jane.TV is prood to report another Sladen fronted event - "A Day With Elisabeth Sladen" taking place this coming June in Glasgow. For more details click here. Please, if you hear of any forthcoming Lis Sladen covention appearence report about it in our new, friendly forum - and we'll make a song and a dance of it here in the main news page!

Finally, as slow news season is well and truly upon us it's time to unveil a few cool new features to the site. As of yesterday, our faithful under-16 writer Raxxie (I haven't a clue how to spell his full name - besides, time is of the essence!) has started his regular "Raxxie's Quest" column; which rather uniquely, explores classic Doctor Who through the eyes of a 21st Century child. Be there or be square!

We'v also got a cool "25 Questions" session coming up. Any readers of Torchwood.TV will know exactly what I'm talking about. For anybody else, expect the secret to be broken early February. It's almost time to get those thinking hats on ladies and gentlemen!

And last but by no means least, as SJ.TV heads towards it's 100 post mark, expect a rather cool look back on the life and times of Sarah Jane Smith - but that's all I'm saying on that for now!

Take care folks...
