Tommy Knight donates money to Demelza

A few weeks ago, Tommy Knight [Luke] attended The Oncoming Storm - a Doctor Who convention where he signed autographs, did fan photoshoots and even took part in an SJA panel. He and Daniel Anthony [Clyde] generously decided to donate their earnings for the day to a cause Tom supports, the Demelza House Children's Hospice. Today, I had the honour of being invited down to Kent to see Tommy present his cheque to Demelza in person.

Coupled with special eBay auctions and additional donations, he's managed to raise well over £1200! Well done, Tommy! And well done to Daniel Anthony, who was unfortunately unable to attend. The money will make all the difference to enhancing the lives of children at the hospice!

£1200 is a stupendous achievement! We need some way of congratulating him for such awesomeness. And I bet he thought he'd got away from all the scary clowns now the filming's finished. :P

Ooh, we did have someone from the Kent/Sittingbourne Gazette[?] come by and take snaps, so thars some recognition there! [If anyone gets a copy of that btw, or any other Kent-based newspapper that runs the story, please do send us a scan!] Tom's so benevolent he'd have preferred if he didn't get any recognition for himself at all. Awww!

And lol, I brought up the exact same point about the clown(!) :D Found out that one of the actors who plays a clown next season had a role last season, too! I should know that, but t'was news to me :D Probably not to other SJA fans, though :D
