It doesn't seem like 100 long blog posts ago that SJ.tv was born, does it? Yep, you heard me correctly - 100! We've reached the magic number at long, long last and I figure that's a reason to celebrate; and what better way of doing that by revealing a little exclusive news that deserves to be shouted from every single rooftop window...?
I'm reliably informed that filming on the 10 part "Sarah Jane Adventures" will begin on Monday 16th April. The scripts for the opening adventure (a two parter at the current time) are now being sent out to members of the cast and production team. It's not yet known if these two episodes are the ones set to be written by Russell T Davies, but when we learn either way we'll report back to you here.
I've a little more news on the alleged new addition to the SJA team (think "Kelsey's replacement"). Apparently he's a boy who attends Maria's school, and is very athletic. It's quite possible that he may even end up as a romantic interest for Maria - although from the sounds of things, Luke may well do his best to put a stop to that!
The production team are looking for suitable locations to use as Maria's high school. I'm informed that Luke accompanies her to the school, and fits in like a sore thumb around the other kids. He follows Maria around, and makes her social life incredibly hard! Anyways, I've learnt that one adventure may feature a monster living in the school basement...
Finally, one last piece of casting news. I'm told that Maria's dad will be returning to the series proper - and so will her mum. But as ever, things for Maria aren't plain sailing. Sounds like there may be a little conflict between Maria's mum and Sarah-Jane coming on...
