All About Them Teeth

Of all the child stars in "The Sarah Jane Adventures" so far, the one that shows the most promise (in my honest opinion) is Yasmin Paige - who after the broadcast of 'Invasion of the Bane' I proclaimed to be the next-big thing of children's television, on our dusty old forum. And why not? She's utterly convincing and charismatic in her role - and better than 90% of adult actors out there at the moment.
+
Already, Yasmin's had a distinguished career for a girl her age (she's just fifteen, would you believe?) having appeared in numerous British programmes like "Doctors" and "The Golden Hour". Her resamay on imdb is very impressive indeed, and shows the wide range of characters that the girl's played - from sweet faced youngsters, to horrid teens!
+
Her big break came in the Edouard Nammour directed film "Tooth" - which also starred Harry Enfield, and so you can probably guess how awful it is. Nevertheless, Yasmin played lead role - Tooth - in the film, and was one of the only credible things to come out of it. She was so great infact, that she seems to have caught the attention of Andy Pryor, who offered her an audition for a forthcoming CBBC series called... you guessed it, "The Sarah Jane Adventures"!
+
Now Yasmin is filming the 10 part series, and not looking back. And why should she? She's got more talent than most soap actors put together; more charisma than the cast of "Primeval"; and is so much better than other 'Who child stars we could mention (cough cough... Matthew Waterhouse!). Long may she reign as the child star of Sarah Jane's world!
+
Wherever the future takes her, Yasmin's sure to have a future that will glow.
+
*Oh, and for anybody watching BBC One last night, she appeared in "Secret Life" alongside Matthew Macfadyen - playing a teenager being harassed by a paedophile. Don't worry, she told him to "f*** off!". Man, that girl's got spirit!
