From Block to Block

Filming finished on block one of "The Sarah Jane Adventures" last Wednesday, and after a long Bank Holiday weekend, work begins on Block Two today. We still don't know who's going to direct the two episode block, but the episodes consist of Gareth Robert's "Adventure Four" (which remains title-less).

More news on the episodes (i.e. who's going to play a young Sarah Jane) when Doctor Who Magazine's latest issue hits news stands later this week.

In other news, I'm told that "Planet of Evil" will be released in the weeks leading up to Halloween (but delays in the schedule are likely). Elisabeth Sladen recorded her contributions to the DVD earlier in the year - and there's a strong possibility of more Sarah Jane Smith titles seeing the light of day come 2008. We're blessed, I'm telling ya.

Keep a look out for any location filming that may or may not be taking place around Cardiff over the next week or so - and don't forget to email us here at SJ.tv with any lovely pictures you might just happen to take!

I was near the Sarah Jane house yesterday, when I heard the shout of 'Lots of Pace and energy!!' it was exactly the same quote as David Tennant had used on the confidential I had watched recently. When I looked to see who shouted it, the guy looked like the one in the confidential...and he had directed the episode about the space ship going into the sun...Can't remember his name :(

Sounds like Graeme Harper! I'll update the main page to reflect this.
