During yesterday's DWM news round-up I forgot to tell you all the most exciting news of all (I blame a combination of bad memory and tired-ness!). The next issue of the Panini produced magazine looks like it'll be devoted to previewing the forthcoming Sarah Jane Adventures. According to the 'next issue' section of this month's read, next issue will see:
-
"Sarah's back! Everybody's favourite investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith is back for a new series of adventures, aided by her loyal gang of friends Maria, Luke and Clyde! DWM gives you the lowdown on the new CBBC show..."
-
Maybe that'll even include a Sarah themed front cover...? Whatever the case, the SJA seem to be getting a lot more coverage than the adult oriented Torchwood spin-off. Perhaps that's because The Sarah Jane Adventures, like Doctor Who Magazine itself, fills much more of a family friendly demographic? Expect more behind the scenes sneaks over the next 3 months...
-
DWM issue 387 is out on 20th September - check back here for more details...

While we're discussing things I may or may not have forgotten, two weeks have passed since Sarah-Jane.tv celebrated an important milestone. We've now been online, celebrating everything to do with Sarah Jane Smith, and especially The Sarah Jane Adventures, for a full year now. Thanks to everybody who's contributed to the site, and to all our regular readers for, well, reading! Here's hoping we've many a year left in us yet!

Congratulations on your first anniversary! I'm really grateful for all the hard work you put into this. The three online "Who universe" news pages that I visit regularly are Outpost Gallifrey, Torchwood.tv and SJA.tv.
As for all the coverage The Sarah Jane Adventures gets in DWM as opposed to Torchwood, at the Regenerations convention last year, IIRC, Clayton Hickman said SJA would always get better coverage for the very reason you made in your story.
Thanks again! And keep up the good work!!
Best wishes
