All Important Ratings

Yesterday's debut of the first Sarah Jane Adventures episode had a pretty amazing 1.3 million people watching (11% of the available audience) - that's up about half a million on CBBC's usual average audience. We'll see if the audience stays this strong over the coming weeks once the hype (and advertisments) have died down a little.

Over on the CBBC Channel the first airing of "Revenge of the Slitheen" Part Two had 0.44 million people watching - enough to put the programme in the multichannel top 10 of the day. The episode was ranked 7th overall - quite an achievement for an all out kid's tv programme!

Wow, those ratings really are pretty good!
Let's hope this continues and then maybe the BBC will want to renew it, fingers crossed...

Is it going to be repeated? I missed it due to traffic getting home from uni. I was gutted!!!

Hopefully kids will hang onto it in the coming weeks & maybe ensure a second series.

I will be hanging on watching it even the repeats on BBC1 and preview the episodes on CBBC.
A theory on the Gorgon;

In Torchwood Series 1 Episode 9 "Random Shoes", wasn't that a Gorgon eye that Eugene tried to sell on ebay? If so the Eye Of The Gorgon may be similar looking to the one which was in "Random Shoes".
