Around the World

There's confirmation here (from SciFi Wire) that "The Sarah Jane Adventures" will be showing on America's Sci-Fi Channel from April. One online resource suggests that the series will air back to back with new Doctor Who episodes every Saturday night. Confirmation on the schedule closer to the time...

Meanwhile, it's been confirmed that the SJA will show in South Africa, on the SABC2 network, from this Saturday afternoon, @ 3:30pm Central African Time (CAT).

Don't forget that the series begins later this month on Canadian television, too.

Yay, now that's the kind of confirmation I like to hear!!! ;)

Although I do find it a bit odd that it would air on Saturday-for the past 3 seasons, Doctor Who has been apart of their SciFi Friday lineups. Saturdays on the SciFi channel are usually left for somewhat bad (not always bad, but mostly bad) scifi movies. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

You can bet I'll be keeping my eye on SciFi's schedule bot! ;)

Maybe they want to make a Saturday Family block?

Yeah the Saturday night block on Television is prime time for British TV, here's hoping it's the same in the US!

I'm ecstatic that Sarah Jane Adventure's is going worldwide. It'll be a household name around the globe in a matter of months!

Lizo (who I'm assuming is Newsrounds Lizo, I know he posts there) has just pointed out this BBC Press Release on The Doctor Who Forums:

CBBC unveils new dramas

"From the makers of Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures returns for a second series of alien investigations"

Now we can breathe easy though there was little doubt really. Still I'm elated :).
