Freshly released from 2 Entertain is a special edition DVD of 1983's anniversary adventure, "The Five Doctors". The release features a commentary track with Elisabeth Sladen, Carole Anne Ford (the Doctor's grandaughter, Susan Foreman), Nicholas Courtney (the Brigadier) and Mark Strickson (Turlough). There's a bonus, easter egg commentary that has the vocals of current Doctor (and Sladen's "School Reunion" guest star) David Tennant, producer Phil Collinson and script editor Helen Raynor.
Elisabeth also pops up on the DVD's main documentary, "Celebration". She talks about all things 1983, including her appearence in "The Five Doctors" and the Longleat exhibition. She also spills the beans on sharing public toilets with her fans, and her dad visiting her during Longleat's mega convention.
There's a coming soon trailer for "The Invasion of Time", which marks the departure of K9's first model. "The Invasion of Time" is set to be released later next month.
Rumour has it that "The Brain of Morbius" (starring Sladen and Tom Baker) will be released later this year. "K9 and Company" is set to appear in UK stores in a DVD double pack with "The Invisable Enemy" (K9's first adventure, from 1977) later this year. More news on this exciting release when we get it.
Eye of Horus is reporting that BBC Audio will release a Tom Baker narrated CD of "Pyramids of Mars" on August 14th. This follows an audio of "The Monster of Peladon" which was officially released yesterday, as was "The Brain of Morbius" last month.
Finally, the SJA have been nominated for best Children's Drama in this year's RTS Awards (the winners will be announced on March 19th). "The Sarah Jane Adventures" face competition from two other shows, "Desperados" and "My Life As A Popat".

The other shows don't stand a chance when put up against SJA. Wonder if it's possible to get a ticket to the RTS Awards in London?! It'd be great to see a victory and perhaps even meet the SJA cast or crew member collecting the award.
