Hot off the heels of the announcement that the Series 3 DVD box set will be arriving on November 1st, comes good news for American fans!
tvshowsondvd.com has reported that the Region 1 version of Series 3 will arrive at our doorsteps on January 4th, 2011, a mere two months after its Region 2 counterpart!!! No word on extras, but the box art looks very similar:

Lol, I must be the only British fan who likes to buy a copy of both the Region 2 and Region 1 SJA DVD's :P Glad to see the releases are so close together!
ACK! How dare they make us wait soooo long just cause we're Region 1!!!! *sniff sniff* I feel so discriminated against...waaaaa. :P C'MON JANUARY!!!!
Better late than never! I'm just happy we are getting Region 1 versions-since no one has picked up the series to air here in America. At least fans here still get a chance to see the episodes!
Nabu-don't know about other British fans, but I do know of some American fans who buy both regions! ;)
