Talk to Me

Tonight on ITV1 there's the premiere of a brand spanking new series, "Talk to Me", starring Joseph Millson of SJA fame. The actor, who plays Maria Jackson's dad in "The Sarah Jane Adventures" series, is 'Woody' Stephen Woodgate - a radio producer - in the series, which is written by former Shameless writer/producer Daniel Brocklehurst.

The official synopsis for the series reads: "This is a warm hearted show about modern relationships and modern lives. It’s Cold Feet – with tough edges. At the heart of it is a love triangle between Claire, Woody and Mitch. Claire and Woody have been together for 8 years, have a young baby and are planning their wedding. Mitch is Woody’s best friend, but he also loves Claire. Mitch can’t have the woman he loves without destroying the most important friendship in his life, but can he ignore his smouldering feelings, and can Claire resist his charms..?"

ITV Online has added an official website for the series, which offers cast interviews, character bios and a number of photographs to upload to your computer screen! And Millson's ever reliable unofficial fan site has a "Talk to Me" section which you can read here. It also contains a news section of everything that Millson has ben up to recently, and comes highly recommended.

Younger readers of SJ.tv are advised that the show, which debuts post-watershed @ 9:30pm tonight, contains bad language and scenes of a sexual nature. But trust me, it's Danny Brockleshurst so it'll be very very funny!

The four part "Talk to Me" kicks off tonight, Sunday June 10th, at 9:30pm on ITV1.

Interesting news on Sarah Jane.

Here in Australia I saw Robot on DVD this week early.
A good show and noting the commentary and the information text near the end I see Lis Sladen fairly recently saw Revenge of the Cybermen again.
Also more details on Ian Marter's writings will be explored in a future DVD.
Possibly Revenge of the Cybermen or even Terror of the Zygons may be int he planning stage for DVD, the former would now make a complete box set too!.
Could be possible late in the year or early next year.
All the best.
